Helen Jewell studied Fashion and Textiles at Middlesex University followed by a successful career as a high street fashion designer in London. Since moving to Brighton in 2000 she has combined family life with her talent for creating personal commissions hand crafted from recycled and salvaged textiles, often incorporating items of clothing with sentimental value to her clients. As well as commissions Helen is currently creating a series of textile and mixed media pieces inspired by the Sussex landscape.
